How do you like your eggs in the morning?

To be honest they are hit a bit hit and miss - either too runny (yuck) or hard (tasty but I want to dip) My perfect egg should have a creamy yolk and a set white. Is there a foolproof method?

YES!
Fill a saucepan with enough water to cover the eggs PLUS a little bit more. At the first sign of bubbling lower each egg with a tablespoon and reduce heat to simmer for 5 minutes (medium sized egg, 6 minutes for large). Remove eggs and place under the cold water tap to prevent them from continuing to cook inside the shell.
