Lunch and the city : The Restaurant Bar and Grill

Flat Iron steak : Marinated for 24 hours, chargrilled, served medium, garlic and parsley butter and served with house-cut chips.

Well, it certainly tasted great but it was new for me. What exactly is Flat Iron steak?

Named because of its distinctive shape, the cut is taken from the "feather" muscle. Gristle is removed leaving a nicely marbled lean steak. A great cut for marinades apparently.

Don't you think this would be a nice treat for the BBQ grill?
